The Board of Supervisors, staff and our consultants have been developing regulations to address Illegal Sewer Connections – meaning sump pumps, down spouts, etc. being connected to the sewer system. This ordinance will require the televising of the sewer lateral from the home to the curb, along with a visual inspection by our codes department, prior to the sale or transfer of a property having a public sewer connection. The above Ordinances are scheduled for consideration by the Board on December 21st. A Public Hearing will be held at 6:30 PM for the Architectural Design Standards; and, the Illegal Sewer Connections Amendment will be considered at the regular meeting beginning at 7PM.
