Spring is right around the corner – it’s time to think about your child’s summer plans.  Our Playground Program will return this year for another summer of fun in the sun.  We want to thank everyone who participated last year and those who completed our on-line survey – we heard you loud and clear! The program will be held at Amity Community Park; however, new this year will be the use of the Daniel Boone Middle School for bad weather or severe heat days.  Additional Friday field trips will be added as well!  Also new this year is a change in the required age – in following state guidelines, all participants must be age 6 or entering first grade and no older than 12.  The Program will run for 8-weeks from June 17th thru August 9th.  Program times are M-F 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, there will be no extended care offered beyond 4PM. You will have the option of registering for the entire program or by selecting the weeks you plan to bring your child(ren).  Be advised, there is no daily rate – the weekly rate is applicable whether you come one day or five days per week.  Please download our 2019 Parent Handbook.  During the electronic registration process, you will be asked to consent to reading and understanding the Handbook.  If you are unable to complete the electronic registration, please come to the Township office M-F 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM for a paper registration form.  Payment will be required in full prior to the first day of camp (no later than June 3rd).  We accept check, money order, E-check, credit card/debit card.  Questions regarding payment may be directed to accountspayable@amitytownshippa.com   Questions specific to the daily program may be directed to the Camp Coordinator by emailing amityplayground@amitytownshippa.com  Registration is open thru May 17th – early registration will assist us with ensuring we have sufficient staffing for the number of students attending.
