The inspector is required to be present within 15 minutes of the inspection time.<\/li>\n<li>A quality video of the sewer lateral must be provided to the Amity Township inspector. Flash drive or cloud based videos are acceptable but must be provided the same day of the inspection.<\/li>\n<li>All sewer laterals on the property must be successfully videoed for the inspection to be complete (curb to structure).<\/li>\n<li>If the inspection company cannot perform the inspection due to operator or equipment deficiencies, a new application for inspection will be required.<\/li>\n<li>Failure to adhere to the standards listed above may result in revocation of Certificate of Fitness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<a href=\"https:\/\/pci.jotform.com\/form\/252804721946158\"><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>CERTIFICATE OF FITNESS REQUIRED<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Amity Township recently passed a resolution requiring any contractor performing inspections to obtain a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pci.jotform.com\/form\/252804721946158\">Certificate of Fitness<\/a><\/strong> (ordinance #346).<\/p>\n<p>These inspections include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sewer Lateral Inspections required by Amity Township for the resale of a home connected to the public sewer system.<\/li>\n<li>Fire Safety Inspections, including fire alarm, fire suppression, kitchen hood cleaning, special fire suppression and sprinkler inspections required by the International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC) and International Fire Code (IFC).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Anyone performing these required inspections must register with Amity Township before inspections will be accepted. A full copy of the resolution is available by request and at amitytownshippa.com<\/p>\n<p>An approved list of inspectors will be available to property owners and will be listed in the order that they are received.
