Amity Township is accepting applications for full-time police officers.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: (DO NOT need to possess ACT 120 to apply)
– 21 years of age or older and a United States citizen
– Possess a high school diploma or GED
– Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
– Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a police officer
– Starting salary: $60,000 (recruit) to $96,045, (depending upon experience and new police contract) excellent benefits package
– Written exam and physical agility test date to be determined
– Applicants that are currently Act 120 certified police officers in the State of Pennsylvania, out of state equivalent, or PA State Police are not required to take the physical fitness examination
