Amity means “a friendly relationship” or “friendship“. We hold true to our name – the Amity Township Supervisors, appointed boards and commissions and staff are business friendly and strive to attract commercial development into our Community!  We offer below, one-stop for all of your business questions and/or needs:

All businesses require a Zoning Permit and a Landlord Registration, Tenant Registration or Non-Profit Registration to locate within the Township.

Business Registration and Licensing as well as Change of Use or Occupancy regulations are in development – this will help us maintain an inventory of businesses within our Township as well as pertinent contact information and other details about your business. At change of Use or Occupancy an inspection will be conducted by our Code Enforcement Officer prior to issuance of a Certificate of Compliance of the International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC).  After consideration of the Board of Supervisors, these regulations will be linked to this page.
